Ixorus

So, last week Rick and Maria published a New Tangle Pattern in the Zentangle Newsletter:  Ixorus . And this week Laura challenged us to use this tangle in our Weekly Challenge tile.

This one grew on me as I played with it, and began to take on a life of its own! I offer 2 tiles here (and I have more ideas!)





I'm working on the Valentine's Day swap (I'll post these AFTER they're sent out, of course),  and Something Special for Groundhog Day here.

And Ixorus may be just the "I" tangle that I need for the "Tangle Your Name" challenge at Linda Farmer's Tangle Patterns site.

AND I have a few extra days off coming up. Lots of Tangling Time!!

    Wow! These are great! I liked the lines inside the second Ixorus, they remind me of fans or orange slices. Beautiful work!

    Ah... I like the second one (both are beautiful). Your insight continues to astound me. A few days off, huh? I have a couple of empty bedrooms all ready for "company."

    Ok... I have to get crackin' on this challenge. I'm not happy with any of my offerings yet. Need to get out of my head.

    I thought of orange slices, too... then add the berries and you've got a fruit cocktail. I love both of them.

    I'm with Laura... I thought citrus when I saw the second one - but I thought lemons (hmm... interesting?!). But they're both great. And the luxury of a few days for tangling... yay!!
